The unjustified actions of United States

The actions of the United States were unjustified when they dropped the atomic bombs on Japan. The Japanese deaths that followed the atomic bombs far outweighed the American deaths at Pearl Harbor. The United States should have found a better tactic rather than killing innocent civilians. When the Japanese attacked at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 there were 2388 Americans killed. In return for the Pearl Harbor attack the angry Americans made an abominable choice of dropping an atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, located in Japan. The first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 the effect of that was 90,000-160,000 people died during the first two days. Three days later the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, it killed 60,000-80,000 people in two days. Many more civilians died later on, because of the long term effects of the atomic bombs. It is unbelievable how Roosevelt could have made the choice to attack innocent Japanese civilians to get back at the Japanese. Many families where torn apart and thousands of people lost their homes. Roosevelt could have found a better idea to stop the Japanese from attacking the world. He shouldn't have took America's anger out on people who had nothing to do with the Pearl Harbor attack and the other attacks from the Japanese government around the world.
