On August 6, 1945 the Americans drop the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima was called the “little boy” this bomb was made of uranium. There was many people who were killed by the immediate effects of the bombing not only solder but more families, children were killed as well as new born babies .There were several thousands more, approximately 90,000 to 140,000 who died as a result of burns, radiation. Many families were left searching for lost family members. Some parts of the city no body’s or bones were left exempted a dark shadow of the people that were standing there that had disappeared.
The second atomic bomb named the “fat man” was dropped on August 9, 1945, three days after the bombing of Hiroshima. This bomb was aimed at Nagasaki after the bomb had hit it started to rain but as the Japanese called it the “dark rain”. This dark rain was filed with radiation. Many people that were exposed to the rain stared to lose their hair and coifing up blood up to three or four days later many of them died do to the radiation in the rain.
